We have been involved in training with Security Solutions International™ (SSI™) for some time. When the opportunity presented itself to bring their active shooter program to our area, we were extremely excited. SSI™ has always provided instructors who are professional operators, knowledgeable in their field, as well as very realistic scenario-basedtraining. This program was no different. The reality-based scenarios designed by the staff clearly had a positive impact on the students. Every day, we see different active shooter situations from foreign and domestic terrorist to the local school shootings. This program prepares the student mentally and physically to analyze the situation, develop a plan, and address the threat posed by the shooter.
